Living life for myself and not others

15 weeks before my bachelorette party in 2019 I had posted a blog about losing weight for your big day. At that time it was very important for me to be my best, but also feel my best. You can view that blog here.


If you have read the blog in the provided link above. You will see that I was determined. I ended my 15 weeks losing about 3 inches off my waistline, the scale number never changed (it was because I gained muscle), I felt great!

Post Wedding Health

Like everyone tells you when you go on a strict diet and hardcore workout plan if you stop you gain it all back. I didn't really stop, I just got lazy. Then a really good friend of mine told me not to put myself down. As women, we are constantly struggling with feeling like we don't look our best, or we don't look like we should. Which is crazy talk! Every woman is different including you. You should be happy with the way you look, and the way you feel. Don't let the wedding industry of skinny brides make you feel any different. The true bride is beautiful no matter what.

Now that my wedding is over and we are back to normal life. I tried to get back to what I looked like during the wedding. I stopped myself the other day and said "NO, enough is enough. You are beautiful, you shouldn't do it for others, do it for yourself." So, in honor of World Health Day let me just say being healthy in your own way is better for your mind and body.

What being healthy looks like to me now

My daily routine now is to wake up and use my virtual reality headset to play Super Natural which if you don't have an Occulus you need to get one. So that you can play this game. It is a game, and it is a workout all in one. I do this for about 25 minutes - 1 hour half per day, depending on my schedule. I also, try and drink a ton (128 Ounces) of water per day, have a veggie at least once a time in every serving of food. I am back to my wedding weight and I feel great. Not because I am doing this for others but because honestly when I stopped working out I was tired all the time, had terrible headaches, and just felt like CRAP.

This is my new healthy!
