Bachelorette Party Planning

This is the best advice I can give you DON'T PLAN THIS AND YOUR WEDDING AT THE SAME TIME! That is the nicest way I can put it. If you are like me. You are possible Type A. Which means we for some reason want to control everything, and everything has to be perfect. Well if you are planning your wedding on your own without a planner do not take on the task of planning your Bachelorette party as well.
This is why:
1. Wrangling a bunch of girls to do one thing is a pain in the butt. It is like herding cats.
2. If you are planning a weekend like I want it will involve finding the lodging, activities, pricing, transportation, food, outfits, drinks, going out plans and much more. Might as well be another huge event you are planning.
3. It is just stressful!
This is coming from ME a PLANNER.
So, what do you do if you can't plan it? Pass it on to someone who knows you better than you know yourself. For example, I passed it on to my best friend since high school. I am pretty sure she knows me way better than I know myself.
Stay tuned for my bachelorette plans. All I can tell you is we have 14 girls! That's right 14 and no they aren't in my bridal party (I don't have one). I still wanted to have a bachelorette party though so I invited some of my closest friends and so far they all said yes. We will be going to Austin, Texas to enjoy a weekend of food, fun, and outdoor air.
